Loan Packaging

The Women's Business Development Center (WBDC) is committed to helping women entrepreneurs seek financing for start-up and existing businesses. Whether you apply for a micro loan, SBA loan, or traditional bank loan, similar information is required to complete a loan package.

WBDC does not provide loans, however, loan packaging assistance is available to those who have completed at least a portion of a business plan.

WBDC will:

Review you business plan and financial projections.
Help you understand the criteria lenders use when evaluating your loan request.
Help you prepare the necessary documents required by lenders.
Introduce you to potential lenders.
Act as your advocate in seeking financing.

There is no fee for the initial one hour consultation during which a plan of action will be discussed, along with the fees that may be incurred.

Loan packaging fees are:

$100 application fee for loan requests $100,000 or less, this includes two hours of consultation.
$250 application fee for loan requests over $100,000, this includes four hours of consultation.

Please note that a $10 appointment cancellation fee is charged for all appointment cancellations including the initial one hour free session, unless 24 hour notice is given.

Limited financial aid is available to those who qualify and meet HUD income guidelines. You must apply for financial aid before registering for a course. To Apply for financial aid, click here.
